If you have five minutes...I need your advice! I'm putting the finishing touches on a new course called "The Homeschool Map - How to plan the years before college applications ...without missing crucial steps!"
I want to make sure I don't leave anything out, so I am hoping you will let me know your biggest question about how to prepare your child for the "college application years." It could be anything. You may think it's trivial, but if you are thinking it, someone else may also be!
For example: What should we do in Middle School to prepare for High School? Do colleges look at Middle School grades or activities? Are AP Classes and exams worth it? Is an Associates Degree at the Community College better? What is the PSAT and why does it matter? Which to take- SAT, ACT, or CLT? Do you prepare for those exams? How do Homeschool kids even take the exams? How do you build your transcript as a homeschooler? Do homeschool grades matter? What to do about informal classes? How do I show a Math curriculum split over two years? What about recommendation letters? Which extra-curricular activities should my child pursue? Is job experience better than sports? What about competitions or awards? High School Choices: at-home, online, Dual Enrollment, private or pubic? When should you start visiting colleges? How do I prepare my child for the Common App Essay? How do you build a college list? How can we get full tuition scholarships? How do you write the "counselor" essay as the homeschool mom? What are Admissions officers looking for from homeschool kids? Does my child have any chance at "selective" Universities? How can Christian kids survive in secular colleges? Are any colleges still Christian?
In exchange for your advice, if you are one of the first 75 people to respond, I would like to give you access to the six-session, one-hour, online "beta" masterclass in late April/early May for only $19! I would offer it for free, but I have found that people get out of something what they have invested. I'd also really value your feedback. I will be offering very practical guidance! My goal is to give you such clear, helpful steps...A HOMESCHOOL MAP... that you will write a great review for me! :-) This course will be offered for much more in the summer, but YOU'LL get special access to experience the course for the cost of 2 Chipotle burritos... make sure that I have your email to invite you!
THANK YOU!!
